The Pentecost Day

It’s a blessed first Sunday to celebrate Pentecost, the birth of Church. It would be my first time to celebrate Pentecost. But I haven’t visited church that celebrate Pentecost today because I was exhausted from yesterday flight. However, I catch up with watching DEAFCHURCH sermon online. From what I learned about Pentecost. I read Acts chapter 2. Nowhere is mentioned about Roman Catholic Church. It is mentioned about the Christ believers and the experience, experience the Holy Spirit’s power. The unnamed church was founded for people to gather together to believe Jesus. And verse 21 says, “everyone who calls
    on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Also, I read the history of Pentecost. The church was probably born in late May of AD 30 50 days after the resurrection day of Christ. I want to know the original name of church but it does not have to know but as Christ-followers, they can go to church where it is biblically based. I prefer to go to the church that is more than 2, 000 years old, not the church that is recently like for example Jehovah’s Witness. No offense but that’s the truth.

My Thought & Preparation

I have my thought and preparation for today. Its all about tomorrow and until June 9th. This, not my mood to go… But I have to go to Buffalo. Why? It’s a long story. I don’t need to talk about it. But generally my thought and preparation to share with you in today devotional. Plus scripture that I will like to talk about.

What is my thought for tomorrow? Tomorrow is airplane, Leo and I will embark on to Buffalo. Thankfully Leo have finally got his birth certificate after almost two years he did not have. He was supposed to have it right after his birth but was at the wrong children’s hospital because of the messy plan.

My preparation is taking some time to pack which is the right clothes and some other materials. I’m not allowed to bring any liquid like makeup foundation because it’s the law. So… I prepared – done. ✔️ I’m ready! He he.

Okay, this is the first time for Leo to hop on the plane at his age same as my sister. I was 7 years old first time on the plane to move to Buffalo with our family because we needed a better deaf education. Our island Puerto Rico did not have that. So we moved on to the best.

I am nervous about tomorrow travel to my hometown and on Tuesday unnecessary family court. Nervous is a normal feeling and I am thankful for the Lord be with me and Leo. He comforts my anxiety. (Deuteronomy 31:8).

Crazy for Jesus ❤️✝️

I came to the world thirty-eight years ago. All I remember was Jehovah’s Witness religion that my parents believed. Some good thing I celebrated some holidays as a child. Until aged 10, stopped celebrating holidays. It was some joy but not that much. It was traumatized. I’m so happy that I encountered Jesus in early 2000’s and I finally left that cult in the fall of 2015. I had struggled with my parents, trying to get them free me so that I could be crazy for Jesus because I love that true God. And therefore, Jesus died on cross to save my life.

Now I’m a spiritual Christ-follower visiting both soulful and Anglican churches online. I’m a single mother and have one child, Leo. When Leo was born, I was crazy for him. He looked at me and I knew he was going to love me and clinging me more. It’s so cute to see him! God, I’m crazy for him! I love him so much! That’s God’s beautiful blessing gift. I’m so thankful that God created Leo, me and every person. And, everything. Now I’m writing this today devotional. It’s all about crazy for Jesus. The true notion of crazy for Jesus need to have time with Jesus. I’ve heard people say, “God bless you”. It’s a blessing gift you can give and you will get it in multiplication. God bless you and be crazy for Jesus because He loves you. Give thanks to the Lord for what He has done for you.

A Dauntless Love-6/1/22

It’s June and I am writing my 30 days of devotional. The name of it is “My Live Loi Devotional”. I am starting today’s devotional: A Dauntless Love

It’s a dauntless love to whoever you love! When you love someone, you two are the one that bear bold.💖

How can you not feel afraid to show love to whoever you love? Act love, love boldly! Ignore the people who says “You can’t love…” Because you know you feel love. You can’t survive without love. Because hate is a cold feeling that you need to feel warm.

Take a look at a fable about lion. A lion is hunt in the storm. That’s when your love was taken by cruelty, you can be like a lion. So ROAR at the cruelty (haters)! They have no-no rights to take your love away! Show them that you can be a dauntless love to whoever you love. So don’t let that fear control you.

My Memorial Day Triumph

It’s Memorial Day and we celebrate the triumph of God’s blessings! I spent time with Leo… He enjoyed his day but wanted more of a day. It isn’t easy to parenting him about a fun day.

I can’t imagine what my Leo would be like when he get older and become a military soldier. He would be going out and fight a war in other country. And his life he would be willing to lay down for other life. While I would be alive, I would feel grieving at my dead son. Let me pray for his life. I don’t want to outlive my Leo. And I don’t want to see Leo suffer because it is the most painful thing.

I look around at the world, I can see so much hate and evil. I’m asking, “Where’s the love?” The tough question to find an answer. But the psalmist celebrates God’s ultimate triumph over evil world. And I get to celebrate the ultimate triumph of the Lord! One day my trial will become my triumph where there is no enemies and no more arrogance. There will be in a peaceful new world.

However, right now in my life does not look good. I pray for a better life and I am positive that one day my trial will become my triumph. I keep faith in Jesus.

My Life is… My Devotional Plan

My life is… As you know that life is isn’t easy when you live in the times of adversity that you need to find peace. Sadly however, last weekend was a shocking news that left me feel terrified and angry and I wonder if my plan go as unplanned. Leo’s father still live in near the horrific area where shooting at Tops occurred. Leo needs to see his father in every weekend but the 18-years old monster interfered, interfering our co-parenting plan. That means that Leo and I can’t move back to my hometown because of It’s not safe for us. But his father has faith in Jesus, pray for his safety.

I have two more weeks left to my birth month. I’m kind of the same person since I left the wrong children’s hospital with Leo. Yet I’m still healing because I have trauma and is not easy for me to forgive the evil hypocrisy. I learned my life lesson is to be careful with what the right church is and which association that is right for me. I want peace. I need peace in during the times of adversity. So I am planning to write my 30 days of devotional for June. I will share it with you in June.

My Palm Sunday

This morning I got up for today Palm Sunday celebration. I watched DEAFCHURCH TOGETHER’s Palm Sunday sermon online called “Triumphant Entry into Jerusalem”. It is the story about when Jesus rode the donkey to Jerusalem on the last week of His Life. But the people were excited to pick up the palm and to rally and lie their coats on the ground. The donkey came to pass by to honor the King the Savior. The Jewish people were very excited on that Palm Sunday! I wrote down that exciting sermon on my Christian planner. See a picture below:

Palm Sunday Sermon Note

After four 0’clock I took a walk with my son Leo and my nephew to view around the beautiful green nature in our neighborhood. And we stopped by like a Promised Land. It is so amazingly beautiful how God created! We thank Him for creating the green trees and grasses for us to breathe. That’s Life is VERY important for us to live living.

We came home from short walking, we enjoyed viewing the beautiful green nature. Leo was so happy to view the outdoor nature. Leo is an outdoor person like his dad. He desired to be in the nature more. Like bear and any animal that live as the wildlife. Maybe someday he will love to work with the wildlife animals. I have watched Wildlife Aid in United Kingdom for a while. See their videos on YouTube at https://youtube.com/c/wildlifeaid. I will love to share that site with Leo.

My Homeschool Meme

My prayer journals

I believe that prayer is the most important for me, you and the people. It is a key way to develop a relationship with God. The helpful tool for prayer is using the mnemonic ACTS. They are in Psalm 28:1-9. I’m going to use the mnemonic ACTS for my new prayer journal for this month and the following months. Ask what is ACTS? A – Adore, C – Confess, T – Thanks and S – Supplication (Appeal).

I pray for myself, for my friends and for others. David lifted up his hands. This is a synonymous with prayer. Hands raised in worship is not a modern Baptist idea; it is actually in ancient times.
