Saturday’s Devotional: Focus on Loving God, Not the Possessions 🙏🏼❤️😇

I am fascinated by reading Mark 10:17-27 story of the rich man who ran up to Jesus and fell on his knees before Him. He asked Jesus of how he might inherit eternal life. He has kept the Ten Commandments since he was a boy. Jesus looked at him and loved him. And He told that rich man to go, sell everything he have and give to the poor people, and he will have treasure in heaven, and then follow Him. Strikingly, it’s Jesus love that compels Him to instruct the rich man. Yet that rich man walked away saddened, because he was unwilling to do what Jesus instructed him.

I understand the part of having the possessions is too easy. But if you love Jesus, you can give away the things you don’t need to the poor people.

Today devotional, it’s all about loving God, not the possessions.

If we focus on the things, then we miss out on experiencing the richness of God’s grace, the joy of His presence, the sufficiency of His mercy.

God continues loving us, and wants us to love Him. When we’ve got what we all have, it’s impossible for us to discard the things we don’t need. But Jesus teaches us how to love by first loving us. The Good Shepherd left his 99 sheep to go after the one lost soul.

Picture Jesus hugging you. Is there anything He asking you to give up the things you don’t need? It might be hard to answer the question but think of Jesus, He loves you. You will have treasure in heaven.

Tuesday’s Devotional: Trusting God 🙏🏼💗

As a follower of Christ, we know that in all things God works for the good of us that love him. I read Hebrews chapter 11. It is a good example for us to walk by faith and trust God. It’s important to know what faith is. Let’s look at Hebrews 11:6. It is possible for us to please God by faith. We come to Him, believe that He exists and that we earn the rewards.

God invites us to walk with Him. And we learn to trust God – walking with Him as He works in our lives and recognizing His worth in the Holy Scriptures.

Take a walk outside today and picture yourself taking a hold of Jesus’ hand, and declare your trust in Him as you learn from 2 Corinthians 5:7.

Lord, help me to walk by faith and not walk by sight. Help me to keep trusting in You despite my current situation. Amen. 🙏🏼💗

Monday’s Devotional: The Grace of God 🙏🏼🤍✝️

Why did Jesus die?

That question makes me consider the answer. I’m going to answer it. I read Galatians 2:21. It says:

I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!”

Wow! This verse is strong! It makes me ponder the grace of God, not law. As Paul argues that if we rely on the law and God forgives us and favors us, then we at heart rejecting Christ’s death on the cross for nothing.

I inform you that none of our works are good enough to secure God’s favor. But the good news is that we don’t need to impress God and rest instead in Jesus’ finished work on the cross. Jesus lived the perfect life, died on the cross, and was resurrected to victorious life to invite us to join His royal family forever and ever.

Jesus, I stay faith in you. Amen. 🙏🏼💗🤍✝️

Sunday’s Devotional: The Lord is Good🙏🏼💛🍯

Psalmist invites you to read the fascinating verse:

Taste and see that the Lord is good;

blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.

Psalm 34:8

When I personally taste the Lord’s goodness, I’m creating a pathway in my soul that imprint my memory with Him and guide me to keep coming back to Him. Other scriptures I read that God’s Word is as sweet as honey, and Jesus is the bread that gives life to the world, and whoever eat it will live forever. In 1 Peter 2:2-3 encouraged us to continue craving the pure and sweet Word of God.

I see

The Lord is good

I’m blessed to trust Him. 🙏🏼💖

Right now…I would buy Leo chicken nuggets. This would make Leo very happy after he was very hungry!

I Trust God and His Unbroken Promises

The broken promise should be once is enough. I am disappointed with Joseph, my baby’s father promised to do I do to me. He broke his promise to shatter my trust. He know I am disappointed him.

What I know is that failures are a normal part of human relationships, and learning to forgive each other. But God is not failed. Because He is not human as Number 23:19.

No matters we feel hurt from others who put us down, God will never break His promises. In beautiful fact, 2 Timothy 2:13 says, if we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself.

Being disappointed with Joseph has affected my view of God. And the challenge is ‘have faith, everything will be alright.’ It’s hard because I can’t see the future. But I know that God’s promise will never break. So I stay faith in Him.

The best way is to understand that God shows his love for us: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

As we spend time getting to know Jesus, we get to know the loving heart of God.~Asheritah Ciuciu ❤️😇

The Goodness of God

Leo taste omelet for the first time. He will use to like this good breakfast meal.

This early morning I made the different kind of omelets. At first I preheated the pot, putting the butter to melting, added turkey ham and then added the blended 8 eggs with American cheese and green lettuces (chopped) to the heated pot. And I cooked it for 3 minutes.

Today I want to share the savored verse with you.

God’s Word is as sweet as honey. Jesus is the bread, anyone who eat it will live forever. Amen!

Taste the Lord’s goodness and delight your soul in Him.

In 1 Peter 2:2-3 encourages us to continue to crave for God’s Word, taste the Lord is good and thus, you may be saved.

God’s Word is sweet and better than the manmade medicine. So I choose to have time with Jesus, I do not have time with the dramatic denomination stuff. Because of they always have to hurt my soulful feelings. So it is better off to not to participate in that place. Home is sweet and I can worship the Lord.

Matthew 4:4: Taste God’s Word

Psalm chapter 34: I come to learn God’s Word and taste it. I praise the Lord because of He is good. And because of His kindness God has rescued me out of troubles. No foes can crush my soul. Amen.

The Lord saved David out of all his troubles.

David hear and rejoice, and praise the Lord.

The Lord is good.

God provides us: 1. Fear the Lord 2. Seek the Lord

The Lord hears the righteous ones crying out, and He delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. The Lord protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken.

Glorify the Lord! Taste and see the Lord is good. And trust Him.

David trust the Lord. He continues to taste the Lord is good.

Psalm chapter 34: Experience taste the goodness of God.

I need God delivers me from all my troubles. I’m staying faith in Christ.

I read God’s Word and trust the Lord because He is good. I cannot trust myself because I’m not good at what God is like.

July

Tomorrow is July and I’m going to be free… Today I thought about a plan for July. I’m wanting to keep grace in Christ and to keep me spiritually healthy. And for my baby, I’m taking care of him despite feeling so exhausted.

First Day of Summer 2021

Yesterday was the first day of summer. Although I don’t live in northern state. I live here southern state. North will always be in my heart. Because of north is my hometown. I hope to visit New York this Christmas. Anyway, recently Friday I went to the Fort Island Gulf Beach with my family. It was fun and stressful for distraction. A mom need to keep her eye on her baby and ensure that baby not get hurt.
